Kim and Mike had a beautiful church wedding at St. James, followed by a reception at The Riverhouse in Haddam, CT. The day went according to plan thanks to Debbie Gordon, their absolutely amazing wedding planner. She is not only so sweet and easy to work with, but extremely detail-oriented and creative.
The color of the wedding was ice blue, and the bridesmaids looked gorgeous in their dresses of this color. The flowers were mixed with greens and white, and a little blush mixed in. They were delicate and sweet. While both the bride and the groom were getting ready separately, they exchanged cards, a moment that made them even more excited to be married. One of my favorite photos of Kim is the moment after she read this card. Such a genuine smile and tears in her eyes.
Kim was simply stunning in her Jenny Yoo dress, gorgeous veil, and her jewelry just pulled everything together. She had the help of her Maid of Honor and best friend, Amy. I went to High School with both these girls, and it was so special to be there as both a photographer and friend. I just love them so much! While Mike got ready, he had his Best Man Johnny by his side — he is such a character and so funny and entertaining!
After the ceremony we went to the outlook over the Connecticut River with the Goodspeed Opera House in the background. It was such a fun day, and it was so sweet taking Kim’s wedding photographs since we went to high school together. It was like a big high school reunion! Congratulations to you two!
