Rustic Farm Wedding in South Windsor

Sam and Nick had one of the most down to earth wedding that I’ve photographed. Certainly a favorite of mine to be a part of, and even more special because I am friends with them! Their color scheme was blue and cinnamon red, and it paired perfectly with the rustic theme of the venue, Vito’s on the Farm in Windsor, CT. The owners of the farm are so lovely, easy to work with, and accommodating to all their couples and the vendors, too.

While the girls got ready inside the main house in the bridal suite, the boys got ready in the red barn. You could hear the chickens clucking right outside the window as they were preparing for their big day. The farm animals and the rustic buildings were some the little details they loved about the location — naturally I had to include them in the photos! Nick rocked his awesome socks and tie clip and gifted each groomsmen a unique tie clip. Sam looked gorgeous in her Dreamer’s and Lovers dress, her unique headpiece, and I loved the pop of color with her blue shoes.

The flowers were some of my favorite to photograph. The boutonnieres were unique and dainty, created by Eddy Farm. Eddy Farm also built the impressive arch that the couple stood under during their ceremony, adorned with gorgeous farm flowers. After their short and sweet ceremony, the party was on! The night was filled with impressive dance moves, sentimental speeches and delicious cake. This is the type of relationship full of love and laughter, and they will hold onto that for the rest of their lives, constantly making each other smile. Congratulations to Nick and Sam, I know the laughter you share with one another and the friendship I see in you will two last a lifetime.
