Block Island Erin and John Sullivan Renewal Ceremony

I met John and Erin at the Block Island Wedding Show a few years ago. As the story goes, their wedding was postponed due to COVID — but finally in the summer of 2021 they were able to have the wedding of their dreams at The Sullivan House on Block Island. The Sullivan House is one of my favorite destination wedding locations in the world. The whole team does the most beautiful job hosting their couples, and it has some of the most beautiful views of Block Island.

The couple got ready on location in the charming bridal suite, followed by a first look on the lawn overlooking the water.

The bride looked stunning in her Monique Lhuillier dress and Loeffler Randal shoes, and the bridesmaids in their mix-matched blue dresses.
I love doing first looks because it gives us a chance to take all the formal photos before the ceremony, so that the couple can truly be present during the cocktail hour and reception.

The reception under the tent was absolutely stunning and the most fun, with rockstar wedding planners The Summer Sisters, flowers by La Bella Rose, and Sugar Band keeping the guests dancing all night long.
