I was first introduced to Morganne and Matt though my bestie Kaitlyn — Morganne and Kaitlyn worked at Tory Burch together (more on that in a moment when you see the bridesmaids dresses)! One of my favorite things about M&M is their love for enjoying life to the fullest, together and with their friends. They love to travel, hike with their adorable puppy, and enjoy all the delicious food that their current home of NYC has to offer. That’s why on their wedding day it was so important that their friends and family enjoyed every aspect of the evening. It was evident in all the carefully planned details: the choice of their beautiful venue, the food and drinks, and of course the band that kept them dancing all night long.
Photographing at the Inn at Mystic was a dream. The gardens and the beautifully maintained buildings were a stunning setting for the French Country and Garden Party-inspired theme. Jennifer and Kaitlin at Blue Lane Events did the most perfect job styling the entire venue with this in mind.
Morganne took my breath away in her Anna Campbell dress from Lovely Bride in NYC and her handmade headpiece from Melinda Rose Design. Since Morganne worked at Tory Burch, it was only fitting that the bridesmaids wore the most beautiful TB dresses. Matt was looking extremely dapper in his Bonobo’s Tux and his Hermes cufflinks. And how about this for talent — all the groomsmen wore handmade needlepoint cufflinks made by Morganne. That’s talent! Congratulations, Morganne and Matt! I can’t wait to see photographs from your South African honeymoon.
