ABOUT ALLEGRA

I’m a nationally-published photographer and an Emmy Award winner, with clients in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, and throughout New England. I also specialize in Block Island destination weddings. My wedding, family, and portrait studio is located in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

MY STORY

I was born and raised in Connecticut, and together with my husband and my son, we live in a cute little colonial house in South Glastonbury. Allegra means happy, and happy I am. I met my husband in high school when we were fourteen. I knew he was different, and I liked it. He was handsome, brilliant, and mischievous. But it wasn’t until we were adults that we were together. Our love story began as friends in our childhood and in love as adults. Steve is my husband and my best friend and he affirms my faith in love. I believe in heart throbbing, all-consuming, can’t-live-without-it love and I’m lucky to have the best job in the world documenting this for other couples and families.

I document weddings with an artful eye, and an editorial and candid approach. I work unobtrusively and let moments unfold organically so my photography enhances the occasion without becoming its focal point, leaving you with timeless photographs to cherish forever. I focus on capturing the beauty and emotion of the day, and my photographs will encapsulate all of the love that surrounds you.

INVESTMENT

Wedding collections start at $3,400, and most couples spend between $3,900 to $5,000. I love to work with couples to create custom collections that perfectly meet their needs. With your investment in my photography you will not only receive stunning, carefully hand-edited and high quality images, you will also receive the utmost personal attention and care.

Above all, I pride myself on being trustworthy and skillful. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from Tufts University and you can rest assured that I know what I’m doing with the camera.
