Anniversary Sessions

One of the most beautiful things about photography is that you can relive your most special moments throughout life, time and time again. As important a milestone that a couples wedding is, I wanted to find a way to continue to tell their lifelong love stories, so I created Anniversary Sessions. These sessions are a unique opportunity for you to celebrate your growing love and commitment to your marriage.

Anniversary sessions will take place at your choice of one of the three times throughout the year at rotating locations throughout Connecticut. Each location is unique and offers an opportunity to celebrate the seasons and the many beautiful venues throughout the state. Each portrait session is 30 minutes in length, allowing us to capture beautiful candids as well as intimate formal portraits. After the session, you will receive an online gallery of lightly edited images. With your first-year session, you will receive an archival memory box, a 5×7 print in an 8×10 fine-art mat, and the digital file of the image you choose. You are able to purchase additional digital files, prints, and photo products as well.

Each additional year after that, the anniversary session fee reduces to a lower fixed rate and will include a new 5×7 print in an 8×10 fine-art mat from that year’s session. As you add each print to the box, you will build an heirloom that you can hold in your hands and cherish more and more each year. As your time as a couple starts to grow into a family, I do offer the option to bring children or pups to the session. While capturing you alone as a couple is important, I think it’s equally special to capture a blossoming family, so I allow for this option at an additional fee per person.

Remember, you aren’t necessarily tied to the season of your wedding — you may choose any session you’d like even if it’s not the same exact month as your anniversary. It can be so beautiful to capture your love growing throughout changing seasons to tell a complex love story.
