Their love story began immediately. Two dates in, Cara and Aaron knew they were meant to be. And their wedding was no different — the couple was clear about how they wanted this incredible day to look. It came down to the finest of details, all of which I excitedly captured on camera.
The bridal party was big, and that was a reflection of how many dear friends they both had! Every single one of Cara’s bridesmaids loved her so much and it was evident from their affection and emotions throughout the day. There were so many tender moments between her and her best friends. With such eloquently dressed friends around the glowing bride, a champagne toast was in order. The girls gathered around Cara to pop bottles, and I snapped vigorously at the smiles. To be honest, the bridesmaids were extremely animated throughout the day and only made my job easier! I loved getting to know each and every one of them.
As the big day progressed, each moment felt more special than the last. The smiles continued to grow across both Aaron and Cara’s face. The nuances of their traditional Jewish Ketubah signing were filled with laughter and beautiful tears. That energy carried throughout the night, as the dance floor filled with excited guests, some of which have known the couple since undergrad at UCONN. It was a celebration, a reunion, and a beautiful night to be married.
This wedding, this couple, reminds me of what an honor it is to witness such a special occasion.
