Christine and Ryan couldn’t have had a more perfect wedding day. Everyone was worried about the rain, but Mother Nature’s gift to the happy couple was to wait until after the ceremony for it to pour. Although rain is rumored on a wedding day to be good luck to the bride and groom, no luck is needed because they are already a match made in heaven. The wedding was held at the Larchmont Shore Club in New York, where Christine went as a child with her grandfather. Their wedding was decorated with beautiful light spring pastel colors, as well as touches of their Irish heritage. The beautiful couple — my friends — met in Hartford, CT and had an instant connection. Being friends with the bride and groom, I can tell you how fun-loving they really are, and that shines through on both their wedding day and in their relationship. You can see how much they truly love one another, especially at the first look — Ryan couldn’t keep his eyes off her! As a couple, they said that their favorite thing they pulled off at the wedding (besides getting married of course!) was having their favorite band play for them, Best Kept Secret. As if the band wasn’t enough, and having the wedding at such a symbolic place, Christine’s Uncle John, Reverend John Arens, married them. I felt so happy and honored that they wanted me to capture one of the most important days of their lives. This day couldn’t be filled with more love and beautiful memories. Congratulations to Christine and Ryan. Cheers to enjoying your beautiful lives together!
