When I moved back to Connecticut from Boston in 2013, my now husband immediately suggested I join HYPE to meet other businesses and local entrepreneurs. Little did I know that I would make connections with people that went beyond work and they’d blossom into such great friendships — like the amazing Caitlin! We were all so sad when she moved to NH just a few years ago, though we knew it was going to be great. But best of all, that’s how she met the love of her life, Josh. Caitlin and Josh aren’t your average couple in all the best ways possible, and their wedding was so perfectly reflective of who they are: lovers of nature, good food, and family. I love intimate weddings that are effortlessly beautiful — but even more when I get to be the photographer and a guest! The focus of the day was always on celebrating their love with their family and friends, in a meaningful place. The ceremony location, a short amble through the woods to the lake, was a stunning backdrop for their lovely exchange of hand-written vows that brought us all to tears. Immediately afterwards we took portraits throughout the woods and along the lake, and then we joined the rest of the guests for a scrumptious Sunday brunch. It was truly divine, and I’m one lucky lady to have been there with them to celebrate and capture all their love.
