The sweetest love stories are the ones that begin before the couple even knows it. Matt and Diane were friends since middle school and both attended Uconn. While at a post-graduation Uconn football game they reconnected and sparks flew! Once they started dating, they immediately knew they were right for each other and their friendship turned into love. On a Saturday in October they exchanged vows in front of family and friends at Sacred Heart Parish in New Britain. The newlyweds, bridal party and I made our way to the gorgeous Walnut Hill Park to take group and couples photos. I love how Diane’s stunning Casablanca dress stood out against the fall foliage. Following their couples photographs, we headed to The Farmington Country Club for an elegant reception. During one of the most beautiful moments of the evening, the parents of the bride and groom performed a traditional Polish blessing. I love how they incorporated their heritage into their special day. The evening continued with music by Heartbeat Dance Band who kept the party going all night. I’m overjoyed for this couple to be together and I wish them the best as they start their new life together as husband and wife.
