When I met Donna for coffee, we hit it off right away. We immediately knew we were kindred spirits, with a love of art and design! I was so thankful – as she put it – that fate brought us together and I was able to photograph their wedding. Of course every last detail and moment of the day were perfect, and I was especially thrilled to find out their invitations were made by my girls at Hartford Prints. Amidst all these gorgeous details, it was their shining love that stood out the most.
The moment they “knew” they were meant to be, they were at the Yale Museum of Art. So it was only fitting that their wedding took place at the New Britain Museum of American Art. When Donna told me about her relationship with Neal, my heart melted. This was the kind of love that – quite simply – makes you believe in it. Maybe it’s the way they look at each other, or maybe it’s how they beam with joy. Seeing how important their children, their friends, and their families are to them made the day even more special for me to witness and capture.
