Being asked by a fellow photographer to capture their wedding is one of the biggest compliments you can receive. In this case, I was lucky to be both a colleague and a friend of Antonio and to have become great friends with Antonio and Curtis together! Their wedding was beautiful for so many reasons, but mostly because it was so personal and intimate and really reflected their personalities. Curtis is a Rev’d at St. James’s Episcopal Church in West Hartford and they held their ceremony there, surrounded by their community of friends and family. The parishioners of their church gathered together for the ceremony and enjoyed a cocktail hour together afterwards. Antonio and Curtis then held an intimate, backyard reception at their beautiful house in West Hartford. Obviously you can tell they have impeccable taste, between their suits and other details they chose, such as their gorgeous flowers. Thank you, Antonio and Curtis for choosing me to capture your day! xoxo

A sweet moment between Antonio and his sister…
Probably the best entrance to a reception I’ve ever seen!
And of course the night ended by throwing Curtis in the pool. I may or may not have been informed this was going to happen! Sorry, Curtis! Please also note their friends reactions on the right…
