This engagement is an exciting one for me! Marivel and I met while I was working at This Old House. We bonded over pretty much everything, but especially our men! Jeremy is in the Air Force and while Marivel and I worked together, he was overseas. My boyfriend and I were also long-distance. Though not quite as far as Jeremy, Marivel and I helped each other through it. When Jeremy returned, he took Marivel away on vacation and proposed to her! I’ve gotten to know them so well over the past few years and I’m so happy to have them as friends. We took these photographs at their friends countryside home in Connecticut where they met. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect location for them. And how adorable is Cash, their newest little puppy and family member? I’m so thankful they asked me to photograph their engagement pictures.
