This past weekend I visited my best friend Katie at her new home and we took these beauties in the streets of Manhattan in the Upper East Side. Katie just started working for Coach and she is a true fashionista -@uptodatekate! She is a gorgeous woman and I think these photographs show off her beauty as well as the fashion sense that she has honed over the years. The natural light at the end of the day was just magical. The final photograph in the series was taken from the fire escape of her apartment. I was perched on it, shooting towards her in the window. I love the golden light that surrounded her, giving a lovely hue to the photograph. She was very nervous for me to be on the fire escape, but these are the things you have to do to realize your vision as a photographer. You must be daring and maybe even a little crazy! I hope you enjoy these photographs and the fashion, too.
